As we all stay safely home during this time of "social distancing", please know that the staff are thinking of you and your children often and keeping you in our prayers.  I will try to upload some special books and songs the teachers have been sharing on the Facebook page.  This will allow those of you not on Facebook to enjoy them, too!  Please stay safe and enjoy the upcoming Easter holiday!

This year 8 ethnic backgrounds are represented in our Promises Preschool community. We are learning we are all God's children worthy of kindness and respect.

What a wonderful start to the preschool year! Our playground got a "face-lift" over the summer. So much fun to have learning outdoors and indoors!

 
Yesterday's Lunch With the Teachers was fun for the staff and their "dates"!  The ice cream sandwiches were a hit with these two!

Field Day With Dad was a big success! "Thank you" to all the dads and granddads who joined us!

This year's After School Enrichment Classes included Little Kicks, Christmas Blessings, Balls of Fun and Fitness and the Spring Blessings Class! The Spring Blessings participants are very proud of their Easter artwork!

During our "International Week", we loved learning about all the places around the globe that our Promises' families come from! It is so important to learn to value and care for one another and
that we are all God's children!

Family Movie Night was a blast this year!
"Thank you" to the parents who helped us with this fun event.                                                         
 Judging from the singing and dancing, Frozen was certainly a hit!

February was a month to celebrate LOVE!!!  That God loves us! That Jesus taught us to love our neighbors! That are parents love us so very much! We took out some special time to show our moms how much we love them!

The woods, rocks, grassy hillside and "stream" have become wildly popular locations for our students and staff during the fall and winter months.  So much to explore, experience, and discover!

Our wonderful natural playscape changes with each new day and season. We can't wait for spring!

Promises Preschool mini-camp "Down On The Farm" was great fun this summer!  The children enjoyed learning about farm life & chores, farm animals, and healthy home grown foods. Of course, the visit by a local petting zoo was the most thrilling part!

This will be a very busy month at Promises!

- Spring Blessings & Mindfulness after school enrichment classes are ongoing!
- Enrollment for another enrichment class - Kids Golf & Tennis by Sports4Life continues.
      (First class will be on March 28!)
- Parent/teacher conferences will be on March 13.
- A special Irish visitor will help us celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
- A parent seminar "Get Up Off That Thing",  Sunday, March 19 (4 PM) will inspire us all
      to help our children become more active and have stronger core muscle development.
- A parent seminar on Sunday, March 26 will be on helping your child improve fine motor skills.
- Thursday, March 30, will be our Promises Family Fun Event from 4:40-6:00 PM for the whole
       family!
